Chitosan oligosaccharide promote banana growth and resist scab
Chitosan oligosaccharide can stimulate genes in plants, produce disease-resistant chitinase and other substances, inhibit the growth of some pathogens, and have cell activation effects, help the recovery of injured plants, promote roots and strengthen seedlings, and strengthen crops The stress resistance promotes plant growth and development. Experiments were carried out to promote banana resistance and leaf preservation, disease resistance and yield improvement, and to provide a basis for the promotion and application of chitosan products in banana production.
1. Test purpose
To study the effect of oligochitosan on promoting banana growth and resisting scab.
2. Test materials
Test product: 5% agricultural grade Chitosan oligosaccharide solution, 25% difenoconazole EC.
Test crop: banana, variety Williams B6.
Planting address: The test site is a test field in Nanning, Guangxi.
3. Experimental design
A total of 4 treatments are set up, and each treatment is repeated 3 times, respectively:
Treatment group 1 was sprayed with 5%Chitosan oligosaccharide aqueous solution on the leaf surface at the seedling stage, 8-leaf stage, 10-leaf stage, 12-leaf stage, budding stage, young fruit expansion stage, and before bagging, 1000 times Dilute the solution once for a total of 6 times.
Treatment 2 groups were sprayed with 5%Chitosan oligosaccharide aqueous solution at the seedling stage, 8-leaf stage, 10-leaf stage, 12-leaf stage, budding stage, young fruit swelling stage, and before bagging. The dilution was once, 6 times in total; in the green leaf number 10 leaf stage and the budding stage, spray 25% difenoconazole EC1250 times each time in a tank mix and a separate application.
Treatment 3 groups were sprayed with 25% difenoconazole EC1250 times solution once in the green leaf number 10 leaf stage and budding stage respectively.
The treatment group 4 was a clear water control group.
The treatment area of each plot was about 667 m2, and 50 plants were randomly labeled for designated investigation. Leave two lines of protection outside.
1.Chitosan oligosaccharide growth promotion analysis
At the time of fruit harvest, 50 xiong fruit ears of the designated survey plants marked in treatment 1 and treatment 4 groups were measured, and the yield of single xiong was measured. The 4th comb from top to bottom and the 8th banana fruit from left to right were selected for each xiong fruit ear. , Determine the length of the single fruit, the diameter of the single fruit, the weight of the single fruit and other indicators for investigation and statistics. The yield statistics of the whole field fruit harvesting for treatment A and the control group were carried out, and the average yield per 667m2 of each treatment was calculated, and the yield benefit analysis between treatments was carried out.
2. Analysis of Chitosan oligosaccharide against Scab
In the 10 leaf stage, 12 leaf stage, and budding stage, all leaves were opened for each treatment-marked designated survey plant, and the total number of investigated leaves and the total number of diseased leaves of banana scab disease were recorded and classified, and the disease condition was calculated Index and relative control effectiveness. During the young fruit swelling period and the fruit harvest period, select the 7th comb banana fruit from top to bottom for the designated survey plant ears of each treatment mark for investigation, record the total number of fruits and the total number of diseased fruits and grade them, calculate the disease index and relative Prevention effect.
4. Test results and analysis
1. Analysis of the growth-promoting effect of Chitosan oligosaccharide
In treatment A, the stem circumference at the seedling and budding stage was thicker by 2.1cm and 2.4cm, respectively; the number of green leaves increased by 1.1 and 1.6 leaves than the control, and the plant height increased by 3.7cm and 7cm, respectively. Glucose has obvious effects on thickening the stem circumference, maintaining the number of green leaves, and promoting the growth of plant height. As follows:

2. Analysis of Chitosan oligosaccharide against Scab
The control effects of treatments 1, 2 and 3 in the young fruit expansion period and fruit harvest period were 28.3%, 97.1%, 93.2% and 25.2%, 94.8%, 91.2%, respectively. The control effects were all manifested as treatment 2 group>treatment 3 group>treatment 1 group, and there was significant difference in control effect between treatments. The control performance of each treatment at the young fruit swelling stage and the fruit harvest stage was similar to that at the seedling stage. As follows:

Summary
Chitosan oligosaccharide can significantly promote the growth of bananas during the vegetative period. Combined with chemical control, it has a significant control effect on scab, and can significantly improve the appearance and quality of banana fruits, and has significant benefits in increasing production and income. And other crop production. During the test period, there were no catastrophic weather such as drought, cold damage, freezing damage, hail damage and adverse factors. The anti-adversity effect of Chitosan oligosaccharide has not been realized, but its anti-adversity effect has been confirmed by many experiments.
