Prohexadione calcium, prevent rice lodging and suppress shoot growth, an environment friendly fertilizer, replacement of Paclobutrazol

As time goes on, people pay more attention to the environmental protection and food safety, some traditional plant growth regulators are gradually banned by some countries.

Prohexadione calcium inhibits synthesis of gibberellin, the plant hormone that regulates cell elongation, thereby inhibiting shoot growth.

It works by soaking seeds, watering, and foliar spray treatments. Compared with the currently widely used triazole retarders, prohexadione calcium has no residual toxicity to the rotation crops and no pollution to the environment, so it may replace triazoles.
